Hey guys,

I've got few q's regarding Tax ITIN# for beneficiary spouse as we are filing 2011 tax: Married filing jointly.

In W-7 instruction, it says to send IRS Notorized copy of beneficiary spouse (NRA Non resident alien) but later it says to send "Apostille notorary"

From w7 instructions: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/iw7.pdf

"Have the copies notarized by a foreign notary. However, foreign notaries are only acceptable as outlined by the Hague Convention. The Hague Convention provides for the simplified certification of public (including notarized) documents to be used in countries that have joined the Convention. A certification will be issued in the form of an “apostille,” which will be attached to the copy of the document."

Q's #1) Where to get Apostille Notorary of passport in Delhi?

Q's #2) How much does it cost?

While researching on acquiring Certified copy of our Marriage Certificate. She was quoted around Rs.2000 for this below Certified copy. She got this as she was

Q's #3) Is this the Apostille Notorary? Image below

Q's #4) They said that this must be attached to the Original copy, which doesn't make sense because Original is Original, no need to put anything on it. I was thinking they would put that on the Copied (color copy) of the original Certificate.

For DS-230:

Q's #5) Should we get the above Certified copy/Apostille of our Marriage Certificate & her Birth Certificate? or just send Originals?

Thank you !
