I am really worried, I will need to use a co-sponsor for my affidavit of support for my fiances k1 visa, and someone recently posted that I should find out if the Embassy in Nairobi would allow me to use a co-sponsor. I had no idea this could be a problem at the interview. Our I129F has been approved and we are waiting for our appointment at the Embassy. I am not currently in the US, I am with my Fiance and will be seeking employment on my return. I have been in the Peace Corps and will return to the US with my Fiance. My mother has the space and funds to support us until we are self sufficent. Is this really going to be a problem can anyone advise me?

It's only a problem when a co-sponsor isn't accepted at the embassy. I was one of the people replying to your post. Best thing is to call the embassy up or email them asking them directly - otherwise ask a moderator to move your post to a regional forum.

Your embassy is Nairobi (so it says here; http://kampala.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html)

The contact information can be found here: http://nairobi.usembassy.gov/visas/contact-the-consular-section.html
