NVC and DS-230

Hey all! got a couple questions.. again :D.

With all the help we have recieved on this godsend of a website, my wife (USC) has the I-864 package prepared and ready for when we need it, and I have the DS-230 package ready to go here in the UK, ( exept for police certificate, should be here on monday, now logistically im confused, after I get my case number, assign my wife as my Agent and pay the affidavit of support fee she can send in the I864 to the nvc

my question is, should I send her the DS-230 on monday , and she send it, or I send it directly to the NVC when the time comes?

as our case was expedited at the USCIS, we where cosnidring requesting an expedite at this stage also , but what I have read is, if we expedite, and it is approved, the NVC forwards our case directly to the embassy here in london, thats as much info as i have found, I read that if this happens, all the documentation is submited here in the UK as if it was through DCF, and all payments are made to the Consulate/ paid at the time of interview,( if this is the case, can it be paid from a british bank account, or do i have to use my US cheque book? )

I have heard a few things about when to submit the expedite requesr.. Is best to submit the expedite request as soon as I get my case number, after sending in the I-864 , to save my wife mailing them to me,or after sending in I-864 and DS-230 to the nvc

I have also heard that if we submit the request at the begining it can cause complications, such as when to apply for medical, waiting for interview date, and have been told it may be best to wait untill the nvc assign an interview date and then request an expedited interview date,

could anyone who has had expeiance with this shed some light / give some advice?

any help would be greately appreciated.

I think it really depends on how you guys tackle the problem. People do it differently, some beneficiary will send it to the NVC once the IV fee is paid.

As for me, I told my wife to complete the DS-230, then mail it to the US. Once the IV fee is paid, I print out the bar-coded sheet and mail it for my wife, along with my I-864 package.

I would suggest that you mail the DS-230 to your wife in the US. Then once all the IV and AOS fees are paid, have her send both packages together.
