:( Hello we had our AOS interview last monday and we got an email on monday afternoon saying that our case was approved and an approval notice was mailed, we got that letter on thursday and just now we got another email saying "This case has been approved. On October 2, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours." Any of u got the same? our case was approved last week and they sent the letter last money, why now it says an approval letter was email today.

9-29-2005 - Sent off K1 Petition application. my brithday!!

10-03-2005 - Vermont received package

case number in the back of the check (bank online)

never Received NOA1 in mail

10-20-2005 - approved- SO SO HAPPY!!!

10-26-2005 - got NOA2 in mail saying the case was sent to NVC

11-01-2005 - got a letter from NVC saying the case was sent to Bogota embassy in oct 28th

11-04-2005 - got package 3 on Bogota and faxed DS-230 and OF-169, i will send them to the embassy too.

Don't be sad over it. It just happens. Sometimes their website has glitches and can send you the same email. Some people have gotten emails stating their case was approved almost a year of having their green card! Were they the same email or was the first one stating your welcome notice was sent? Because those are two different notices you will be getting. The "welcome notice" usually arrives first then the "approval notice" is your green card.

Either way, your green card is coming to you, so be happy!! :D :D

How are you and Adriana doing? Did you do a change of address? If you did this might be why they are re-checking. If you did not it might be because of what Stina said. In any case go ahead and give them a call for your piece of mind. But you will probably be getting the “GC” and “Welcome Letter” very soon. :yes::thumbs:
