It takes mail forever to get to my fiance and his appointment is in 2 1/2 weeks. Will they accept faxed copies with my signature or should i try to mail it in hopes he gets it in time?

depends on the consulate. no sure about ghana....you can type in the google search bar on the right hand side of the visjourney page. "ghana scan files" and find an awnser that way

use the USPS flat envelope. ask the post master how soon can the package be mailed to Ghana. he will give you an option for like 2 days or so and then another option for like 5 to 7 business days. take the 5 to 7 business days option(its about 40$)its pretty fast. my fiancee only sends me letters and packages this way and it always gets to me within 5 business days. its really fast.

you will be given a tracking number. track the package and then after about 4 business days, have your fiance in Ghana call Ghana postal service to check if it has arrived or not. usually they call the receiver to come in and pick it up but its always good to be proactive in Ghana. i think the post office phone number is - from Ghana - 030 266 8619, and if you want to call from the US +233 30 266 8619. let me know if you need more help. i have also mailed stuff from the US to Ghana this way sooo many time, and it always gets to receiver withing 5 to 7 business days.

sorry this is not working for you. its has always worked for me. have your fiance in Ghana, call the number i gave you and ask them if they have received any package for him. its probably sitting in their office. did you write your fiance's number on the package?

Midge you look familiar. I think you might know my fiance. It depends on where you ares sending stuff from. It takes longer than others. But if I can fly there in a day it should not take two weeks to get mail

try sending by express mail it takes only 3 to 5 bussiness days or use fedex.

I have tried to send stuff through regular mail and it has never reached my husband. In fact one such package bounced around Ghana a year before it was returned to me. When I have something to mail I spend the money and send if FedEx.
