Both the Embassy and Medical is done in Manila.

The medical center is called St. Lukes and it is behind Robinson Manila Gil Puyat. It is actually right in front of the embassy, kind of. The medical center is more away from the main road. Little more inside of the city.

I really don't think it will be delayed. You just have to get your medical done, your interview which are both in Manila.

My fiancee just has the medical needed and now is waiting for the interview. Her interview is beg of March and she is just going to visit her family in Bacolod for a few weeks, just before the interview and come back to Manila.

Once your wife gets the letter from the embassy there are a couple of steps she and the children need to accomplish before the interview. Payment and the medical (if routine) should be straight forward and not take too much time. Gathering any needed documentation may be the most time consuming. You will likely have over a month from the embassy letter until the interview can be scheduled at a minimum. If your documentation is ready to go, and the medical is routine, you should have several weeks to accomplish a few days worth of steps in Manila. That said, regardless of where she is when the letter comes from the embassy, she will need to plan only a few days in Manila prior to the interview. So being in Mindanao shouldn't cause any real delay.

My wife and her children are living in Surigao and it will work out. The medical is a bit of a problem because it can only be accomplished via St. Lukes Extension Clinic (SLEC) in Manila, but this can be done when you are closer to your interview date.

Everything else can be done more remotely as long as your family lives some what near an NSO and NBI office.

Your wife can also go and get her GCCertificate for the seminar part of her CFO requirement. I would recommend this be done in Manila through PRISM since St. Mary's tends to be very hard on the girls. My wife had a hell of a time with them in Cebu. This will allow your wife to get her passport reissued in her married name once she has the GCCertificate.

FedEx/Air21 will allow you to get your 'live signature' docs from your wife to you in the States.
