hey,

I filed I -130 for my wife as PR on 10/17/2011. Got my Citizenship on 11/07/2011. then called National Customer service Center to upgrade my case. I got email back from VERMONT Service Center about the upgrade but did not ask for copy of my naturalization.

When I visit different forums it seems that I am supposed to send copy of my naturalization to USCIS service center as my case is in REVIEW.

Any body has recent experience on upgrade case I-130.

I got it. but when i talked to USCIS customer service, they said if email does not ask for any supportive document ( copy of naturalization), i don't have to. on the email what I got is

Type of service requested:

-- Upgrade I-130

The status of this service request is:

Thank you for informing our office that you have now become a U.S. citizen. Congratulations on your citizenship. Your previously filed I130 petition has been amended to reflect your new status. The Citizenship and Immigration Services processes cases in the order in which they are received for each type of visa classification. You can use our processing times to estimate when we will make a decision on your case. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for current processing times. You may also wish to register for automatic email notification of action taken on your case.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

when i called them there answer never say I don't have to. they answer me saying I should not send my copy of naturalization.
