I have to have a joint sponsor and with Military Retirement and VA Disability alone the joint sponsor makes enough to surpass the poverty line. Because of this, is it necessary to provide pay stubs from her work as well? I am supplying them with three years of taxes, W-2s, VA Award Letters, 1099-R Retirement Tax Form.

Every consulate is different, some accept minimal evidence some request a lot. I figure that if they are available to you then take them, better to have too much on hand than not enough

If you are just using the military retirement and VA disability and not using her income from her full time work, then any supporting information

from her work is not needed. However, if you can easily obtain an employment letter and pay stubs, then why not include it. It makes your I-134

that much stronger. You'll have to make that decision. Best of luck to you.

I actually supplied the W-2s, 1099-R, Va Award Letter for 2011, but I think you are right. I need to put in the previous Pay Stubs which we don't get in the mail anymore. I think they are online. I have to wait till my moms gets home to access her account online to print out what is needed.

I also included my 1098-T to prove I was going to school so I wasn't completely wasting my life away..
