Hi guys,

I wanted to let you know how we managed to add my name to hubbie's Sprint account. We have a family plan with two phones. So we wanted to add my name for the whole interview documentation and also because it is easier then to see on the bill who used how many minutes (we think we need more minutes).

Anyway, hubbie called customer service. The lady said we have to go to a Sprint store, she cannot do this. So we went to a Sprint store in our shopping mall. After 20 minutes of waiting we explained the situation to the guy there. He frowned and said it would be impossible. That totally made me furious because I knew it is possible. But no discussion - it was not possible.

So we called customer service again and this time we had another female operator. She said it is no problem and did it right away. She further explained family plans are meant to have several names, not for billing (that is the one person only whose ssn you use), but to see the names for each line (e..g daddy wants to see how many minutes the kids used, and that's easier with the name on top of the sheet of paper instead of the number). It took us 5 minutes.

So if anyone uses Sprint and has the same problem, keep calling the customer hotline. My name will appear on the next bill already.

Good luck!

Anna
