Just curious what questions do they ask at POE and also I know that they are very suspcious at immigration in the states. Anything that I need to know just to give my fiancee a heads up coming to the states.

I had a bad experiences with them. I was coming back from the Philippines and the lady asked me how I financed my trip. Is that really their business?

They will ask the visa holder, what kind of visa she have, and they will check it, if K1, they ask when are they planning to get married? and they remind the k1 holder to get married b4 90 days of her arrival, Any relatives in States?

Some they have different questions, as for me that's their question when i arrive in POE, don't worry they are really nice.

I'm not sure if that's their business, if they ask me ill tell them im good in budgeting my money:) and smile at them:)

Hi although it's not same questions that are ask, mine was name of petitioner, date of marriage, and what they only told me was 90 days stay only expiration prior to Marriage, and they issued the194 as permit to work for 90 days. Good Luck!

You're immigrating now, it's different than being a tourist. You'll most likely get a "welcome to the US" after they process your papers and do the fingerprints. :)

Edit: Sorry, didn't see it was in the regional forum.

I believe I-94 is not your permit to work for 90 days, or maybe they change it? i believe you can only work If you have EAD,. Generally, I-94 are proof of ... Aliens who are admitted on a temporary basis under the K-1 category for fiances ,refers to Duration of Status which means that you are permitted to remain.

I got confused with I-94 as a permit to work for 90 days, is it for real? My POE experience is easy they only said that I need to get married in 90 days and congratulations!
