So after they put in for an expedite without me requesting it in January I call this week and put a request to cancel that expedite and this is what I received via email:

This notice acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning an I-130 petition. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints.

What is that suppose to mean? They need to speed up and get their butts together!

02/28/2012------- DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) emailed to NVC

03/02/2012------- DS 3032 returned to beneficiery

03/02/2012------- DS 3032 resent to NVC

03/02/2012------- AOS fee bill paid

03/05/2012------- AOS fee bill shows " PAID"

03/07/2012------- DS 3032 accepted e-mail by NVC

03/08/2012------- IV fee bill invoiced

03/08/2012------- IV fee bill paid

03/16/2012------- CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!

04/11/2012------- Interview Date Schedule for MAY 7TH

Thats USCIS for you. I will they put in the same effort typing responses to deal with cases.Then there wont be so much backlog
