I have a question. Since Ive been looking for a sponsor to help me get my wife from Russia to the US, I have finally, maybe found some luck, but I need some information.

A friend of mine said he would help, but he is an independent contractor, and files 1099 forms for tax returns every year. He makes over the 18k limit, and he wants to help. Even though he makes under the table cash with no wages and such to account for, will he still be acceptable as a sponsor?
