Hello everyone,

I was granted Asylum in Newark NJ in March- 2011. NVC sent my approved I-730 petition to New Delhi US Consulate. The consulate emailed me just yesterday that they have received my case and the applicants in New Delhi will b notified by mail once the Visa interview is scheduled.

It will b highly appreciated if somebody can predict for me now when a visa interview can b expected in US Consulate New Delhi.

As a petitioner, the consulate or NVC will notified me too by email or regular mail to my NJ address once the Visa interview is scheduled ?

Your asylum was approved on some reason to stay in USA.

Why are they sending it to NEW DELHI, you are here in US and got an approved asylum here, you have a NJ address.

Is it for your spouse?

Yes, it is for my wife and two minor children who currently residing in New Delhi. I didn't mention it in my request on this forum previously, I apologize. Please give me n idea that how long it may take from now for an visa interview ?. Many thanks to you my friend.
