Fil-Am,

Your appointment letter is the "Appointment Confirmation" email/letter you should have received after you scheduled your appointment. It will have all your info, Name, PP#, Appointment Date, etc. It will also have the info and bar-codes proving you paid for the visas.

As for your Daughter (K2), please read the instructions that are part of the interview packet from the embassy. I sent you the linc previously, but here it is again.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html

This "package" describes everything you need to take to the interview. For your daughter, you have to complete two of the three DS forms; DS156, and DS157. She is not required to have a DS156K.

Please read the interview package information very carefully. Stop worrying, everything should go smoothly if you just read and follow the instructions and carry all the docs and supporting docs with you.

As far as your Fiance attending the interview, I believe they will allow this because he is the petitioner. Just make sure he carries his passport with him.

Yes. The Appointment letter is the email you received when you either set your appointment on the phone or on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

The letter should be one or two pages. It will have the Appointment confirmation Number and date for interview etc..

and one more question: my daughter (k2)wii go to the interview with me.will she also fill out the ds form/what specific forms will i prepare for her?

Did you set your daughter's appointment date with yours? If so, you should have a appointment letter email with confirmation number and date for interview.

i am so confused and worried. thanks vj'ers for the inputs.

Yes your finance can be there within the building and at the counter. The consulate may ask him a few questions. This is your interview and the consulate will mainly ask you the questions. Depending on what time your appointment time is, petitioners are only allowed in the USEM after 7:30 AM. Upon arriving you will fall in line with the K-1 appointments. The petitioner will go on a separate line show his passport and go around to the security check. Then wait for you on in the waiting area. You will also go through the security check.

They will give you a ticket number before going into the building. Look on the digital number board for you number to flash/called.

If your daughter has the same date as you they will either have a separate number for her or they maybe bundle mother and daughter together for processing.

Make sure you carry no electronic devices (mp3 players, cellphones, any electronics. If you must carry your cellphone. Hand it to your fiance and have him check it in at the security check. They will give him a card to pick up the cellphone when your done with your interview process.)

NOTICE TO VISA APPLICANTS

Cell Phones Not Permitted on Embassy Grounds

For the safety and security of all applicants and employees, visa applicants are not permitted to bring cell phones or other electronic devices into the U.S. Embassy. Applicants who bring such devices will be denied entry. Please make arrangements to leave your electronic equipment in a safe location off Embassy grounds during your interview appointment. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation.
