another reverification was sent but was not receieve

Hello VJers! i have a question for everyone that went through or knows something about my case. here it is: i was interviewed December 15th last year for a CR1 and got this form 221(G), and went to NSO to comply, then this afternoon i called USEM about the progress of my AP case, the agent told me that they received my reverification (BC) and sent me another reverification letter through snail mail, they sent it 22nd of december but till now i haven't gotten the said mail yet:(

my hubby called the USEM and he was told that they didn't sent another reverification(marriage index), it is so confusing:( the agent adviced me to 1.) check the post office and i went there today but they told me i that no letter for me from USEM. 2.)go to USEM window 38 and ask for a copy of the reverification that was sent to me(which i didn't get) my QUESTION now is : do i need to have an appointment to be able to enter USEM? hope u can help me with this:(

Understanding your post your 221g issued right after interview is a Birth Certificate NSO re verification. Is that correct? What was the problem of your BC? Is it late registered or something? Since you sent it already to USEM, what did they say is the document OK?

A marriage index is a USEM jargon word (terms they use inside), I am a victim myself of this. I went through so much hardship with USEM people. I was told I should go to window 38 and I did, but then when I went a man told me, I'm not suppose to go there because I am suppose to receive a snail mail from USEM that's aside he told me the CO didn't sign yet the paper request. I waited for the snail mail nothing arrived. After about 2 weeks I called, the phone rep told me, I can now go back to window 38. What's wrong with them right?? They lie or come up with excuses to cover up their lousy working performance.

Can you go to window 38 without an appointment? YEEEEES you can, and you don't have to line up outside. Just tell the security check person, you were told by your CO to pick up something at window 38 then be guided inside. My advice is, before you go there make sure

the request is already signed by your reviewing officer.

What is a marriage Index? I did a big boo boo on this too and dragged time on me just the more. On the phone rep said, it is a certification that shows previous marriages. Another rep on different day I called when I asked what's the difference between MARRIAGE INDEX vs MARRIAGE RE VERIFICATION, he cannot give an answer.WHAT A SHAME RIGHT! So thinking I am already married I thought EASY! I went to NSO website I clicked CEMAR then did the re verification procedure. Why would I do CENOMAR for non-marriage??? I am married now!!They didn't just tell me it is another CENOMAR request and they kinda do balance check on records. Your CENOMAR re verification should certify your previous marriages.

You can do the marriage index or simply CENOMAR re verification 3 ways. Online, over the phone or you can go to NSO Pasay branch.

thank you for the input sis, uu nga sis, akala ko madali lang process since married na kami. yun pala pipitpitin padin tayo ng USEM. i just sent u PM about sa karagdagang tanong. bakit pala hindi pa napirmahan yung request paper mo nung unang punta mo sis, u were told na pinadalhan ka nila ng snail mail nung tumawag ka sa kanila? btw sis, gaano ka na katagal under AP if i may ask?

But see, aside they dragged time on my application, the CO is also asking my primary records which is 31 years ago and I cannot provide since school records were eaten by termites and Computerization only happened early 2000. After my grievance, looks like the CO is waving it off, After my face bloated from crying and all, after I wrote him of my sentiments, I was finally told, don't mind them we will submit your papers for another review. We already requested for Chief Consular officer and different CO. I dunno now coz my CO wrote me a letter. I haven't got it yet.

my CO drafted personal mail for me was sent on Dec 23 as per phone rep and I haven't gotten it yet. It normally takes 2 weeks but then there were lots of holidays right..hopefully next week.
