Packet 3.5 Lost in mail , any advice?

Ok so I recieved an email from islamabad embassy on november 30 2011 about packet 3.5, and I filled out all the forms, told my fiance to get her police certificate, birth certificate etc and then she put all the forms in a a package and took it to one of the courrier services in peshawer that is listed on the Islamabad embassy website as authorized couriers. They checked everything and gave her a reciept. That was on december 19th. Yesterday I emailed the embassy to check the status of my case, and received this reply....

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that we have not received any documents yet.

WTH, the mail from peshawer should have taken just 2 to 3 days maybe less. Any ideas on what's going on? Is the package lost in mail maybe? Could it be that the package is at embassy but its not been opened or looked at yet? How long it took from the date any of you mailed your packet 3.5 and getting a call from embassy for your interview? I am running out of ideas. Thanks everyone

It could have crossed, send and email or call after checking the tracking to make sure it was delivered.

EMAIL THE CONSULATE AND ASK IF THEY CAN EMAIL THE PACKET? I GOT MINES VIA EMAIL AFTER PUTTING IN THE REQUEST....

also @RoDamon I am not asking the embassy to send me the packet 3.5, but I have sent them the packet and they are telling me they have not received it yet.

Gotcha, im sorry. Ummm i feel like im reading what my fiance said to me...haha it may not be that they didnt get it yet just that they may not have recorded it.....my fiance mailed packed 3 on dec 29 and is mad that they havent "received" it yet....im going to email them tomorrow to see if they did....

other to that what i can say to u is just hang int here for a while...u kno that other countries (outside of the US) have some carrier issues and aside from that like i said they may have received it but not just recorded it ...it all depends on the load that they get everyday...patience.

My advise is to just email and ask them if they have received it every 3 days or so...use your discretion [ u dont want them to get annoyed by u]
