How important is the getting the name and address changed in passport after marraige and add spouse name to passport for your Consular Processing?

Is is possible that if the passport is valid then we get the aove details added to it after visa processing as we have aleady have marriage certificate to support it?

The name and address provided for Consular processing is new one.

Similarly, Have taken the police certificates as per our pre marraige address, Do we need police certificate for new address also as it is still not 6 months post marraige.

Urgent info required as NVC has been given all docs so we need to rush is this needs to be done.

It is not necessary at the state of NVC. But at the time interview, if you dont have your spouse name added in passport, then be ready to answer for their question. My NVC case was completed with my passport ( where my spouse name was not added nor new address for communication ). It worked fine. But to avoid the interview questionable situation, I better added her name and updated my new mailing address.

Did you get the passport PCC or local PCC?

Police certificates was taken from both passport office and district police authorities but with respect to pre marraige address

Please update your timeline, country of beneficially, etc so that would help the VJ members to guide you accordingly. Each country has different way for dealings, so many things like this.

My PCC doesnt have any address on that ( Just passport number and my photo ).
