I'm getting married on a tourist visa soon and apply for adjustment of status.

I have four names Lara Sofia Ferreira Lopez as I am from Portugal.

Ferreira is my mothers last name and Lopez my dad's last name, we use both parent's last name in Portugal, so they would be recognized as two last names in the USA and Sofia would be my middle name?

In my marriage certificate would i change my two last names for my husband's last name or i would only change Lopez to Smith (his last name)?

Anyway for my I-130, I-485 applications will I use my married name ( name on marriage certificate) or Lara Sofia Ferreira Lopez like it is in my passport and birth certificate?

And if i cant use my married name will I put First name: Lara Middle name: Sofia and Last name: Ferreira Lopez ??

And if i can (if i can use the name on marriage certificate even though its not the same on the passport) will i put the names i lost (ferreira/Ferreira Lopez) in other names used?

I would really appreciate an answer =) This is confusing me. thanks =)

You can use Lara Sofia Lopez in your marriage certificate. Here in the US, Lara will be your first name, and your middle (2nd) name would be Sofia. Yes, you can use your married name Lara Sofia Smith to adjust your status. Congrats to your upcoming big day and goodluck to the rest of your journey.
