i had my citizenship interview on the 12-05-11 at the las vegas field office. io put me under oath to tell the truth before being seated. then he went over the application with me and asked me about my 2 criminal citations that i had back in 2007 that were both dismissed outright.charges were misdemeanor battery and loitering for prostituion. i explained to him what exactly happened and he seemed to be satisfy with the court dispositions. then he proceed with the test then he asked me read a sentence and to write a sentence. then he handed me form n-652 stating that i passed the test of english and u.s. history and that my application has been recommended for approval.today i checked status online and the dot moved to oath ceremony. all in all it was a fast and great experience. just wanna say a special thankyou to all the members on here for answering my questions and giving useful advice.

congratulations! may i asked under what circumstances the chargers were dismissed? were you found not guilty, or convicted and you got it dismissed some other way, like community service? I ask because I have a petty theft charge (property under 200 dollars) from 2005 that was dismissed via community service, and I want to make sure I know how to present myself for it.
