I-864 question

I recently got married to a US citizen. Once we got married, my wife moved down from Oklahoma to live with me in Missouri. Because of wife’s family issues, she may have to go back to Oklahoma for a few months. During the time she visits Oklahoma, she plans on working at their local Wal-Mart. I have 2 questions. When we are called for our marriage interview, will the fact that some of her pay stubs show Oklahoma, create a problem regarding the “living together criteria”? And secondly, if I have my sister, who is a US citizen is my sponsor, will this prevent USCIS from reviewing my spouse’s pay stub?

You'll have to be honest with the IO about the living situation anyway, so if your wife is temporarily staying in Oklahoma for whatever reason just be up front about it and explain why. Once the IO knows about it it won't be confusing as to why she has pay stubs from OK.

USCIS will review your wife's financial info regardless of a joint sponsor because she is required, as your spouse, to be your primary sponsor and fill out the 864 and include the necessary evidence.
