What do I do now?

My fiancee went to Lagos Embassy on 11/15/11 and came out approved. As she wait to pickup her visa on 11/29 and travel on 12/2, she received a call from a lady who asked her to send an email to LagosIV@state.gov to submit I-134 affidavit which supposedly she had with her in the interview gave it to the CO with national population attestation. Bot were given back to her. So she sent a mail to them and received a reply two days later to return for interview on 2/13/2012. Meanwhile, she resigned from her job, packed and ready to leave. She is devastated now because she is out of work and she hates staying idle. To mitigate the problem, I asked her to go to enquiry, when she got there, she was given her passport and asked to return on 2/12/2012 with affidavit of support and national population paper. Something is not right. If the affidavit is the only thing they need and she has it, why will they not take it and continue with the process?

Dear members, do you have any suggestion on dealing with this?
