Ankara Experience for CR1

can anyone tell me how long it took from the NVC closed the case to mail it to Ankara (CR1). They don't have anything available for November neither December. Thank you in advance

No they told me it is full. Therefore I will have to call the 2 week in December. I didnt know Ankara was so busy with the CR-1

It looks like if we do not get an interview date by the 15 of December for January then we will have to get one by January 15 for February.

I have seen Turkish couples get interview dates on the 30th and on the 6th so I still believe it could be any day that we could hear something.

I am praying for us. I also looked at the chart and most people that did not get their interview date by the 4th month anniversary date from the NVC Case Closed date got their interview date within the following 15 days. So hopefully we can get January interview dates.

January still looks pretty open. I'm thinking ours will be scheduled within the next couple of weeks as well for Jan. Here's hoping!

I am seeing on yours that your case was sent to Ankara. An operator told me that our case would not be sent to Ankara until an interview date was assigned. Oh, but not if you are fiancee's.

Yeah, in K1's they schedule at the embassy. We have our packet 3 ready to ship off. We're just waiting for the embassy to receive it. I understand NVC is a long wait for CR-1's...and interviews are scheduled closer once complete at NVC.

They told me the same thing. NVC will send the case after they have the interview date. I am praying to GOD to help us.

I called too. but nothing. You know the rest. Well it seemed I will have a good excuse to go back to turkey to see my hubby and family

I wish I could go back to Turkey but lost all my vacation when I left work last year to go back to stay with him until visa came, but realized it was going to take a lot longer than 4 months and I would lose everything. I have one week of vacation in 2012. I am hoping he gets here in January so we can save that week to go back and visit the summer in 2012.

I miss him so much.

Have you noticed that a few have started getting January interview dates at other embassies. I called tonight and still nothing, but I am praying we hear something this week from Ankara. I will post as soon as I know.
