Well I contacted my congressman yesterday to find out the what the heck is going on on with my expedited I-129F. Background: expedite approved 10/20, RFE (checkbox left unmarked UGH) received 10/25, VSC received and resumed processing (according to them!) 11/1. Congressman's office says adjudicator did not even request the file back until 11/10 and should have a decision this week or by Monday at latest. Very impressed with Congressman's office as far as response time...case worker called VSC immediately and let me know the update (same day). Just thought I'd share for any considering this option...

I also put in an inquiry through the NSC via Tier 2, but who knows what will happen with that....

Wow it's really good, i think i need to have my wife called her congressman as well. My wife lives in New jersey. I live in Haiti and i am an haitian beneficiary. On USCIS website, they said that haitian beneficiary automatically got their case expedited due to the earthquake that struck us January 2010. Yesterday my wife called them to remind them of this decision and that she wants our case to be expedited, they request from us supporting document. This morning i have my wife called them as well explaining them what she sees on the Website, where haitian beneficiary are automatically expedited. They told her it is for TPS, while it is clear that is not for TPS it is for fiance and spouse visa. See the link as proof: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=7b001ef371367210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=68439c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Now what do you think can be done? do i have to have my wife contacted her congressman as well just like you to have our request approved?

Hi there - not sure about your situation since it could be different from the normal procedure. I would have your wife call the National Service Center first and ask to speak to a Tier 2 officer/supervisor to explain the situation and see what needs to done. The customer service reps who answer the phone in the beginning do not have any information - they are reading to you from a script. Calls to your congressman are usually done when you cannot get a response from USCIS. Best wishes!!!

Oh ok< i am gonna have my wife called USCIS and asked to talk to an officer/supervisor. As it is clear on the website that haitian beneficiary petition are automatically being expedited, i do not think they can prove otherwise. Unless they decide to remove the message from the website.... As a final decision, if nothing is made for our case, can we contact the congressman?
