birth certificate issues!

hello....i was born in dubai but am staying in india since the 12 yrs..i am an indian by nationality...my question is my birth certificate is dubai issued with an english translation, but it doesnt state the name of my parents...is tht gonna be a problem?? do all of urs birth certificates carry both the parents name?? plz help..

I dunno in India but here in the Philippines it should show your parents name. Even the misspelling of your parents name has to be fixed first before anything else.

My U.S. Birth Certificate contains both my Mother's and Fathers name.

My wife's Indian Birth Certificate contains both parents names as well.

Thru Indian Postal Service or Priority Courier like Fedex/DHL?

also...can the petitioner send the I 1864 packet right after paying the AOS fee, since the barcode is generated..or does the petitioner receive from the NVC some packet regardig this?? somebody who has gone through this plz reply...

Petitioner needs to wait for a package from NVC, after that, you can send all of your doc.

I am waiting for NVC package, hoping that it should arrive very soon. I will call NVC today to check its expected arrival timeframe.

My wife did not send anything to NVC.

She sent all the documents to me and then I, the petitoner sent it to NVC.

I believe she used speed post. It took about 6 days from Gujarat to Ohio Valley.

You have to wait for the AOS payment to clear and once that does the barcode will generate.

You DO NOT have to wait for anything from NVC. I was never sent anything. Once your fees are paid, the barcode is generated and your i-864 packet is ready, sent it to NVC without delay.
