It took me 2 days. I met another applicant who only bought a one-way ticket from Mindanao. Also it would be best to sign up online and on a Monday or early part of the week since they're closed on weekends.

its a 2-day exam. don't forget to register online appointment at st lukes so you wont need to line up along with other applicants.

1st day, guard will give you an pds form to fill out. same as the pds that you are going to fill out in their website when registering. go to window L (online applicant) and wait for your name to be called which only took a few minutes. they will ask you for index finger scanning and when was your last x-ray and menstrual period. don't forget the first and last day of your period. then wait for your turn on window K and the lady will ask for your index finger scanning again and take a pic of you using their camera infront of their glass window. then ask some educational attainment, work and menstruation again. then he/she will tell you to pay the visa fee (php 9,174.00) then the casheir will tell you where to go next. either for x-ray, blood and urine test, and the last part is the vital signs and physical exam. which took me 4 hrs on that stage. physical: US counter will assgin you a number and to which doctor you will go. when its your time. doctor will ask you again your first and last day of menstruation. will ask you to chaange clothes to the hospital gown and while you are changing, the doctor will keep asking you of questions, your medical history, if you smoke, drink, have tatoos, attempted suicide, have mumps, have convultions, got pregnant, had abortion, miscarriages, had chicken fox, where is the scar of chicken fox, among others. then when she is done asking question, she will ask you to lay in the bed, ask again for chicken fox and show the scar, then check your eyes, ears for earring holes, then the doctor has a gadget like a small flashlight and she will ask you to follow the light, look at the right, left, up and down. then ask you to remove the gown. then check your breasts for any abnormalities, then press just below your abdomen to check also for abnormalities and ask you to lay on your left and move your knees to your breast to check for your butt and to your genetals. the doctor did not touch anything there and it was so quick. it only like 5 seconds when she checks mine and she told me to change clohes already coz shes done. when im ready, she gave me my receipt and passport and told me to go to immunization interview.

immunization only asked me for index finger scanning again, first and last day of menstruation, my vaccinations if i still remember (i only have one which i dont know what and i dont have a record too but i have a scar on my shoulder which i show to them. asked also if i had chicken fox and asked again to show them any scar. then told me to come back the next day at 1 pm for the result.

next day, show the guard my receipt. the guard check in the computer and stamped my slip with immunization. gave my slip and receipt to the immunization counter and wited for my name to be called. when its my time, the nurse asked me for index finger scanning, first and last day again of menstruatuon, chicken fox history. and told me she will give me only 2 shots coz i dont need the one for chicken fox then told me to go at the releasing section in the ground floor and wait for my name to be called. waited a couple minutes there and window A called my name, asked for my signature. then waited again for my name to be called. few more minutes and another window called my name and again, index finger scanning, medical history, how many shots they gave me, and some questions about me and my fiance. then she told me that they will forward the result to the embassy and she gave me my xray cd and a copy of my vaccination list. she told me it is my personal copy.

out of st lukes and called my fiance i did pass my medical. :)

You may want to go in the afternoon. Before I went to SLEC for my medical exam, a friend who's done with the entire visa process suggested that I go there in the afternoon because there would be fewer people. This suggestion was seconded by another friend who used to be a nurse at SLEC. I did as they suggested, and true enough, I completed all the required tests in less than 2 hours: in at 1:30pm and out at 3pm. I almost went in the morning, but now I'm glad I listened to my friends. Keep in mind, though, that the clinic closes at 4:30pm.

The medical is a two (2) day process. Are you going to stay in Manila for the interview also? That will save you airfare money and only one trip to Manila.
