hmmmmmm....We go to bahrain fairly often, across the causeway. We never engage in good conduct over there LOL

I do not believe you can get a good conduct certificate from any of these countries unless you still live there. From what you posted I do not believe that you need one.

i don't get it.

If I'm correct you don't need any certificate from a country where you lived less than 6 months. I can be wrong though.

Check it.

thanks a lot!!!

Just want to make sure I'm not misreading your post - Did you already have your interview and did you receive an RFE by your IO because they wanted you to get the good conduct certificate from Bahrain? Did you mention at the time of your interview that you had only lived there for 3 months? Were you in Bahrain on a visit visa or did you have some sort of residency visa?

Ok. First don't worry! It's not as complicated as it sounds :) I'm going to assume that you've had no trouble getting the Qatar police certificate so I won't bother with that. It's sounds like she is asking you to write a letter saying that you were just a visitor to Bahrain. This is a simple as writing a letter stating that. I would include the dates that you entered and exited Bahrain and state that you were admitted under a visit visa. You would probably need to sign and date it and preferably get it notarized ie sign it in front of a notary.

As a back up plan I would try and find the entry stamp in your passport showing that you were admitted as a visitor. I would make a copy of it to submit as well as bring the original (assuming it's not your current passport).

You could also print a copy of This page from the travel.state.gov website stating that people admitted to Bahrain on a visit visa cannot get good conduct certificates.

If you can remember, did the IO ask for a letter from you or from Bahrain authorities? If possible I would try and get something from Bahrain authorities stating they cannot give you a good conduct certificate because you were admitted on a visit visa. Are you back in Philippines now? Try and contact the Bahrain embassy in Philippines (even by email) to see if they can help you with this. I would think even a letter back from their embassy stating this would be good. If you are sure she was asking you to write a letter then I wouldn't even worry about this step.

So don't worry, she's not asking you to do the impossible :)
