What does it say on your NOA ? On my NOA it says after the receipt of the required records check it will be forwarded to local field office. What do they mean by it. Are they saying after receiving information from me or they receiving their information from their background check? I am curious what does your NOA say about how they are going to process your application.

These lockboxes or service centers, whatever they call them now just look over your application, can reject it if sent in one nanosecond too soon, or if you don't have all of the required evidence. One thing I do know for sure, they cash your check.

How Missouri gets involved, have no idea, but that is where we get our biometrics appointment from and they have consistently sent us to Milwaukee while our field office is in St. Paul, but it seems to work.

But its your field office that has the final determination of whether you get your certificate or not or whether you will have a same day oath or have to wait 15 months. Its your field office that determines whether they want proof of whether you paid a 40 year parking ticket or not that can lead to additional delays. Or may require additional evidence such as a completely worthless joint utility bill. But one reason why such a huge variation in experiences since there is over 80 different field offices. Each with its own dictator.

Hi Nick, The NOA says upon the receipt of the required records check it will be sent to the field office. I am bit confused. Does the request for the evidence and other things come from the field office? If so when does the app get transferd to field office? After the Biometrics?
