My husband had his interview on 10/25/11 for cr1 btw our case was reaffirmed. My husband said interview went well, co told him that everything is fine, just that we need a new co-sponsor . My husband got a blue slip saying no other interview needed only thing was marked was notoarized affidavit of support from new co-sponsor. My question is after we submit required document how long will it take before visa is granted? I hoping for my husband to be here before thanksgiving also our 3rd anniversary is coming up in Nov. and it has been 6 months since my husband has seen our daughter who is a year and a half. we traveled overseas to see him in march and returned home in april. since being married I have made 3 visits hoping for all this to soon be over.

timelines and time ticks for this really depend on how the document is 'submitted' back.

If postal mail, expect 2 to 5 months (no, I'm not kidding) unless a miracle happens.

If a call-in-letter was issued, instead, for the beneficiary to show up again, hand off the paperwork to a human at the IV unit, could be as little as 8 days.
