Just wondering if anyone that has interviewed for K1 visa in Frankfurt could tell me: Did you need to submit your federal tax return paperwork in addition to your i-134 plus the proof of current employment and check stubs. I have all except for the tax paperwork with me, and I am currently in Germany awaiting my fiance's interview in just a couple of weeks. Do you recommend that I have someone retrieve and send that paperwork here to be submitted at the interview, or will these even be required?

I don't remember what we brought to the interview. I remember I had a letter from my employer stating how long I worked at the company, that I am not temporarly employed and the salary I have. But I think I brought tax transcripts from my last or last 2 tax retursns. They are easy to get at the IRS and no need for complete paperwork. You might be able to get them even from overseas.

You could check with the embassy website what they reqirie or email to the consulate. I remember them being very helpful.
