Hi all...wondered if anyone can throw some light on this issue for me please?

I have my medical scheduled in London for 24th October for myself and my son (he is 13) but my 18 year old has just changed her mind and wants the option to move to the USA with us - so that is on a K2, right?

As she said she wasn't coming with us, I have not ordered her a police certificate - will she need one? I was hoping to call the medical place tomorrow to see if they can squeeze her in with me and my son.

I did put on the forms that she would possibly be following so I think I am ok with those, and I assume she would have to come to the interview which is fine.

If she has her medical and comes to the interview, how long will she have to follow before the K2 runs out?

Many thanks :)

Thank you Bob - that gives me some valuable time as I really want her with us.

Does she need a Police Certificate?

I will have to add her to the I-134 as she isn't on there but I have time to do that as I'm still waiting for my interview date. She is on every form except for that one.

I believe since she's 18 she will need a police certificate.

I don't know the I-134 but if your other child is included in the counts then I would assume she should be also if there is intent for her to immigrate as she will need a Affidavit of Support (the I-864) for Adjustment of Status after she arrives.
