can someone please give me a timeline for an interview in China after receiving an I-797 approval notice

also, our letter states that our petition is sent directly to the consulate listed and says nothing about going to the National Visa Center, is this normal for a finance visa?

Its a standard letter.

It has to go to the NVC to get a US embassy case number before it goes to the US embassy.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

I have called the NVC many times, in the guides/flowchart section it says that the NVC should recieve our file in about a week, it has been two months and I even contacted the NVC research dept and sent a copy of the approval notice (as advised by the rep on phone) and they sent me this:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) contacted U.S.

Citizenship Immigration Service (USCIS) in regards to your approved

petition. This petition is located at the USCIS office of the (VERMONT

SERVICE CENTER). Please contact USCIS at 1- 800-375-5283 or visit

their web site at www.uscis.gov for additional information.

I contacted the USCIS again and again and they state that the case in not in their office any longer as it has been approved

what is going on?
