Hello everyone!

Can anybody tell me where we can find our nonimmigrant visa number in our passport? I'm confused. There's nothing there as visa number only control number. Is the control number the visa number? I just need help!

Thanks

Check your K-1 visa, the number is printed in red on the lower right hand corner.

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

OK, now I have another question...Do I also have to fill up the form I-131 and form I-765 in filling the adjustment of status?

Also, just I am worried and curious to know about my situation. My husband and I got married on september 25,2011 and my I-94 expires on september 30,2011. My concern is, my I-94 is obviously expired now and we have not filed the adjustment of status yet still on the process of filling up the forms needed for my AOS. The question is, is it still ok then to file for the AOS even if the I-94 has expired already? Because I thought that we have to file AOS right away before the I-94 expires..someone help me understand things here please...thank you

After you get married, you can start filling for AOS.Some people will not file for a long time, there are some that will take a year before they decided to file for it. If you will not file yet, there will be no problem but you will be out of status and you cannot go outside the US or work here.
