My wife's interview date is November 14. Reading here that it takes 1-3 days after approval to receive the visa, I went ahead and bought our plane tickets back here on November 16. If they tell us the visa won't be ready until the 17th, I was going to ask them if they could expedite 1 day. Do you think I'm taking a big chance here? The only reason I'm doing this is so that we can attend my cousin's wedding and it is only on occasions like this that everyone gets together. It would be the perfect opportunity for my family to finally meet my wife.

I asked them and they told me that our visa will be given 2 days after the interview at 3 pm. So your wife´s visa will be in her hands November 16 at 3 pm (if everything is ok in the interview). Is your plane ticket for night if it is I think you are ok.

Good luck!

That's a relief! Our flight doesn't leave until 8:10 pm. Thanks and good luck to you too!

Well, that was a big risk, but you might be fine if there are no issues with your visa, delays with the computer or anything like that. Good luck on the interview !!!
