Apologies in advance because this post will probably have been done to death but i can't seem to find any topics on it. I have my interview at the London embassy in 10 days but i'm just wondering at what time should I start queueing up? My appointments at 9:30am and i'm guessing there's the morning rush to get in. What time would people suggest?

Ta in advance x

My appointment was 9:30 and I was coming from the Midlands so I arrived in London really early at about 6 am (I love London that early, there was no body about it was bliss!!!) I lurked around the embassy a bit, then about 7 I walked down the road, to the right of the embassy if you're facing it, thats where the pharmacy where you can leave your belongings is, there's also a little cafe so I grabbed some breakfast there, sat down ate it slowly and then headed to the queue about 730 ish, the queue was fairly long but went quick, I'd say I was through within half an hour, they weren't bothered that I was there a bit too early, as long as you have an appointment letter and passort it doesn't matter. I got my number just after 8 am. They're really really nice in the embassy, I got asked 2 questions by the first lady and then the same 2 from the american man and then I was on my way. Best of luck

My interview was at 8am. I got there too early, like 7.10am. But they started letting people in at 7.30am. I've heard it only gets busier after that. I'd say an hour early, and its first come first serve.

In my experience they were really lovely and friendly at the embassy. London is definitely one of the best embassies in which to be having your interview!

Best of luck!
