Hi ,

I am sooo confused i have W2's and 1040's tax return, i will be having my interview soon and just want to know what exactly is a transcript and will i need it ,cause i have the W2's and 1040 's?

PLEASE HELP

The difference is the 1040 proves someone filled out forms while the transcript proves they filed them. The USC can get the transcripts easily & free from the IRS. Call them, use the web site or go to any office to request them. They will fax, send by mail or give them out at the office.

Some embassies wont accept the 1040s ect at all. Dont take the chance. Get the transcripts.
