Folks,

My beloved fiancee lives on Mindanao, so we're trying to figure out the best way to handle the medical exam/interview. How close can they be together? Is it possible to do it in one trip or would it be better for two trips?

Just looking for some advice.

Hi there! I'm coming from Mindanao too. I scheduled our interview just a few days after our medical. Hopefully it will work out. If there is no medical issue/s then I think it is realistic. I have seen good numbers of VJs who had medical and interview on same week and they were successful. Like you we also try to cut down cost on air fares especially 4 of us are traveling (vice versa) as well as for hotel accommodation while in Manila. So we have reserved 7 days hotel in Manila for our upcoming interview. We just have to pray to God for the best thing to happen. God knows best.

If you're coming from Mindanao you still have to find a way to make it in Manila for Medical exam and interview????? I didn't realize how lucky I am with accessibility.

Happy New Year!

Yes, Dear Sis, you are very lucky! that is why we need to find ways where we could possibly get our medical and interview on same week. Hopefully we all pass our medical exam and the weather is favorable by that time. As you know, the US Embassy had to close today due to bad weather. God bless us all :)

I'm from Mindanao too, had my medical exam started a week before my interview. Passed & had the results on the 2nd day. If your fiancee doesn't have any medical issues and passed the medical exam she can do both medical exam and interview in one trip.
