Hello Everyone!!

Recently my husband had an interview in mumbai (india) unfortunately, he didn't got a visa. they gave him a white paper and told him that we didn't had enough proof of relationship documents and our visa is pending in consulate. we have one year of time to proof our relationship and hopefully I will be travelling back to india to be with him for couple of months.

the problem is yesterday I got a call from mumbai embassy and the lady wanted to talk to my parent's. I dont know what kind of questions she may ask? if anyone had this kind of experience pls share it with me. it will be very helpful.

Thank you all!!!!

You don't have timelines and hence I am presuming that your are a CR1 visa applicant. If it is K-1 visa, then it is going to be different.

I hope someone with similar experience responds. However prepare your parents ready to anser questions relating your marraige - who is the Indian spouse, his parents's names, how the marraige was celebrated and where, whether they attended the marraige.....
