Hi I am completing form I 129 F for my fiance in Jamaica and I am so confused about how addresses are in Jamaica. He seems to be kind of confused as he lives in a small town no one really uses formal addresses. Can anyone please share how they completed the address field on the form, when people don't live on a clearly labeled street.

Where is he from? The district and parish. What post office does he use as well b/c some are pa and some are po.

I'll give an example let's say he's from limestone district in st. James. U need to find out which post office they use. If they have there own find out if its a pa or po. So I would write:

Mr. Love

Limestone PO

St. James, Jamaica, W.I.

If it uses another towns post office it should be:

Mr. Love

Limestone District

Montego Bay PO

St. james, Jamaica, W.I.

Hope this helps.

For Address I put: District, City P.O.

For (Town, City) I put his City

For State I put his Parish

For Zip Code I put Jamaica

One of the members actually got an RFE for not putting a zip code! um, Jamaica noh have zip codes! :bonk:

I think the problem there was that she left the field blank.

Always put None or N/A if there is none, or if it is not applicable.

Congrats on your engagement, hoping for a smooth journey for you (F)

Let me clarify this is for the mailing address. If they just want address I would put the district and town (if any), parish, then country, W.I. A lot of addresses in Jamaica are confusing. My husband lives in the country and he actually has a lane, street, district, and town. And I do omit some at times. You can send me a message if u need more help.
