Just a quick FYI: our CO at Lagos stated they will no longer accept phone cards. He said that there is no way to prove you actually used those cards. We had the phone records showing but they apparently they will no longer accept that. Thankfully we had our rebtel & cell phone records too!

Also, do not wait till the last minute to print out your chats! We did not realize but we had over 7000 & it took us weeks to sort them & print. I really wish we had been doing this on a monthly basis.

Last, front loading WORKS! If you have red flags take the advice here and bring a mountain of evidence!

Thank you for the update Jenkatk. I just now read your review, and that is one thing I did not do was address our red flags :bonk::angry: as you did in a letter :o I did frontload (13 pounds of papers) as well as send phone card logs and cell phone records.

I pray that you get the answers the CO is looking for quickly.

We had both. It was thousands of calling cards. I had also highlighted on the bills the numbers from the calling cards. If we had not started using rebtel we would have been in bad trouble!

rebtel is a phone service that most people in the states use to call Nigeria. If you are in Nigeria and use MTN they are correct they will only give you six months and they do request a letter from the embassy (you can take your appt letter) Also If I were you I would advise your USC fiance to start using rebtel to call you are localphone.com that way your call log can easily be printed from there website....Good luck to you
