We're fixing to get all the proper forms completed but I'm confused on the DS-230. Since the K1/K2 is a nonimmigrant visa does this need to filed out for each applicant still? I'm getting conflicting info on this. Some say we need it, some say it's not needed because it's for immigrant visas. I know if wouldn't hurt to fill it out but...just wondering.

According 2 the guides it is needed. Did you download packet 3 from the US embassy Manila website? Look under immigrant visa and packets. It should break it down there. manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html

Also a k1 is considered an immigrant visa since you will adjust status after marrying your fiance.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Hmmmm I was a K1 I didn't fill out any DS 230 form.

11/1/11 - AOS package Delivered

11/7/11 - NOA Received in the mail

11/12/11 - Biometrics Appointment received

11/28/11 - Case transferred to CSC

12/7/11 - Biometrics done

1/2/12 - EAD and AP approved (Card production)

1/11/12 - EAD/AP Card received

1/20/12 - Got Driver's License!

3/7/12 - GC approved!

3/9/12 - Got a job!

3/11/12 - GC on hand

In Manila, only the immigrant visa holders are required to complete the above form.

09.10.2009 – Visa Packet Received
09.17.2009 – US Entry | Home
07.05.2011 – ROC Petition Filed
05.01.2012 – ROC Approved (No Interview)
05.18.2012 – 10-year GC Received
06.19.2012 – Eligible to apply for Naturalization (procrastinated)
06.24.2013 – N-400 Application Filed
09.30.2013 – Civics Test / Interview | Passed
10.03.2013 – Oath Taking Ceremony | Became a USCitizen!
04.14.2014 – Applied for "Expedite Service" Passport (as PI travel date was fast approaching)
04.16.2014 – Passport Issued & Shipped
04.17.2014 – US Passport Received

the DS-230 is not listed. I couldnt look it up before on my phone. Some embassy's do require to fill out part 2 of the DS-230, but I guess manila doesn't
