I have been searching flights, looking at first time immigrants flights also. Expedia beats them all...........Jan 24th, Manila to LAX...........609.00 taxes included. I havent checked Best Travel store yet they have some pretty good deals also.

hi..if i purchase my ticket through Expedia...do i still have to pay tax or is it included? thank you.

How do you get Expedia to look for immigrant fares? Best I found on Expedia was about $1200 so far.

Check PTAA (Philippine Travel Agency Association) for accredited agencies here in PI, it's difficult to navigate the site of IATA(International Air Transport Assoc.)only members can access it further. So I went to PTAA website instead coz it's AITA member also and there I saw lists of accredited agencies here in Philippines. hmm.. I'm starting to get loka reading stuff  Good luck I'm also looking for a legit travel agency.

great info. salamat

That includes your taxes, your fiance would have to pay the terminal tax in Manila.

Dave, that is not a immigrant fare. That 609.00 quote is a one way ticket from Manila to LAX on the 24th of Jan. Ive been trying to find the cheapest ticket also..calling around and asking of immigrant fairs but the deal turn out to not really be a deal after all....so I turn to the internet for my search..using all the travel sites I have used or heard of..........Expedia being the best in pricing so far. Best Travel Store has good deals....I used them when I flew to Manila to meet my fiance... ASAP travel.. even trying the airlines themselves but it seems somehow when its all said and done Expedia is the best.

I see. You might inquire with Arlina @ reliable travel... arlina 1t reliabletravel(.)com(.)ph

She has gotten me the lowest rate so far, but early Jan is really filling up, according to her. I think she had some good rates around the 24th.

Good luck!

Not sure why you would WANT one... that is a LONG flight, for sure! I prefer to stop and get out and stretch a bit. Would love it if they had a flight that had a layover in Seoul.

If you look at the flight plan with a lay over its much longer than a direct flight. With Cathy Pacific u have a two hour flight to Hong Kong and then a three hour lay over than a 13 hour flight to L.A.. With PAL a direct flight to L.A. is less than that in total its only 13 hours 21min.
