Hey everyone, I'm so happy to write that we just received out approval (via email) for our 129-F application!! Yay!! It's been right at 5 months since we received our first noa...so good timing :) Any ways, I'm quite curious as to what will be the next step, and how long..roughly..will it be before he'll get his interview? Any answers are much appreciated!!

I bet you are so excited!!! I can't offer you any practical advise, as I am still awaiting our NOA2 (3 months and waiting). Anyway, congrats to the both of you again and best of luck with the rest. I will be following your journey.

Medical January 9th 2012.

Interview date received January 25th

Interview February 15th 2012 - APPROVED.

Received Visa's (K1 and K2) February 23rd 2012.

POE February 24th 2012.

They do most things through email in Copenhagen. In about 7-10 days call NVC, ask if they have recieved case and ask for new case number. By this time, they can update the foreign fiance's email adress too. Make sure it's correct since you'll be receiving packet 3(consists of a pdf with a link to all the forms needed) through email with instructions.

I went ahead and scheduled a medical appointment around NOA2 so it would be in the hands of the embassy a little after they received the approved I-129f. When the medical is taken care of, all that's left to do is gather your documents and report ready(readyness form is the only thing they want prior to the interview besides medical).

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
