The moral of this story is skip the 214 number and go straight to 011 63 2 301-2000

then in the phone maze pick immigrant visa. at least you will be talking to people

that can answer your question. whether they will or not I dont know.

Are you talking about the personal copy of the NBI clearance (which is the lower half? Look at the date when it was issued, cause NBI clearance is valid for a year from the date it was issued.

I believe it is the lower half. I have no idea. It was issued in January to February. Just do not know if she needs the whole thing, or just the part she has.

it's her personal copy because the upper part was retained by DFA when she applied for her passport...right? i think you should get a new one even if her personal copy is still valid for obvious reason that what you have is "personal copy".

yes i suggest get a new one. some consul are strict and darren i just noticed that your medical and interview are close date. u better have your fiance's medical atleast 1 week before interview. i'm afraid you might get a problem on that. coz on the instructions atleast 1-2 weeks before the interview..

Mine's dated February 2011 and my interview is this week already. I live in the province and it will take 1 month to get a new NBI. I'm just praying i will get lucky and the Consul won't question the date of my NBI. :(

I live in the province too, after almost 8hrs of tedious process and long waiting I got my NBI on the day itself but some who I met there, they were asked to come back after 1 month to pick up their NBI...

Anyways, good luck to u...
