Remember to send the nikah nama in urdu along with english translation

It's better to send originals along with certified copies. I've seen the ISL ask for originals (even tho they had the certified copies) at interview taking more time to issue visa.

We sent both originals and certified copies and they gave my husband back the originals at the interview.

NVC sends originals to ISL for interview.... it should be ok... Actually we were given two originals of nikah nama when we got married at the masjid so what we did was my husband sent me his original for the packet bcos we had it attested at the foriegn ministry and we registered our marriage thru NADRA and so i sent that one but we still have one original in our hands.

You may send certified copy but I would at least take the original to the interview just in case they ask for it. That would save your troubles of worry and of time if they wont issue visa without seeing it :)
