Don't worry about your medical..When i haven't got my medical before i was thinking the way you do...But Base on my experience you have nothing to worry about as long as you are healthy...Just prepare 3pcs. Visa Pics,Xerox Copy of you Passport and Xerox Copy and Original Copy of your appointment letter...In every test they make You need your Passport with you.......

The test they made are:

Blood Test

Urine Test

X-ray

and Physical Exam

Vaccine Interview

after the vaccine interview the doc. will let you know how many vaccination you will have on the next day...

On the next day after your vaccination you can have you X-ray CD result...

Goodluck on your Journey........God Bless......

hi..

i had medical last aug 4 & 5. just drink sterilized milk before you go to your medical just to make sure your x-ray have clear. some of them go to sputum test because they see something on their x-ray. if you want you can do online registration on St. Lukes for fast transaction.http://www.slec.ph/. if you dont have yet eligibility letter from NVC you can print the email from them consist of your MNLcase number. appointment letter, 3pcs of picture and passport. the best time to go there is ( 6:am till 8:am)

The medical exam was the hardest part of the visa process for me because of lots of sitting and waiting. I'd advise you to go there before or after lunch because when I had my medical last month, also on a Monday, I arrived there at 11AM and finished first at 3PM than the ones who fell in line before 6AM. Expect Monday to be a busy day.

The blood work is to find out if you have Syphilis or HIV and drug use (?), Urine test to find out if you are pregnant and for drug use as well, Xray for Tuberculosis and lung related medical conditions, in the Physical Exam they will ask you about your medical history, drug use and to inspect your body for wounds possibly due to suicide attempts. They will interview you also on which vaccines you will be given according to your age.

Answer only what is being asked. :)
