Hi,

I am working on a DCF for my wife here in Thailand. For the I-130 we went to Immigration here in Bangkok and they went though it and we got approval in less than 2 weeks.

Now we are almost done with Packet 3 and I am wondering if we can take the packet directly to the Embassy, or do we have to mail it?

If we bring it in, will someone check it there or will they just take it and say "We will get back to you"?

If I do mail it, Should I make them sign for it?

Thanks,

David

Got My answer:

Dear Mr.(ExpatDave):

After the visa applicant has already obtained documents listed in the Packet 3 checklist, the checklist and Packet 3 documents have to be returned to the Immigrant Visa Unit by mail only. Due to the large volume of applicants, the IV Unit does not accept the returned Packet 3 documents by walk-in channel and cannot review the documents prior to the interview appointment. Please returned the Packet 3 documents to this mailing address.
