Hi everyone,

I went to my interview in Moscow about two weeks ago, but my background check had not arrived from Israel (I used to live there). The interviewer let me turn in the document without having to set up another formal interview. She said that I would be able to get my visa when my BC arrived. On Friday, I was told that the background check would arrive at the American embassy in Moscow on Tuesday. Does anyone know what happens next? If it arrives on Tuesday, how long do I need to wait to have the visa in my hands? How long has it taken you? I would really appreciate hearing from those of you who have gone through a similar experience. Thanks for all of your support!

I just wanted to add that the interview went amazing and the interviewer said that aside from the missing document there is nothing preventing me from getting the visa.On tuesday the document is supposed to be delievered to the 221G box at the embassy.

How long do you think it will take for them to approve me from that point ?

g-d bless all fiances :innocent:
