It's about 50 - 50 tbh. Up here in Alaska you can't see too much difference between the Dems and the Repubs. Both are pro oil and pro development seeing how that's what makes this state survive. For local elections though...the Dems in Anchorage...which is our only so called "big city" up here are totally out of touch with the rest of Alaska. They would rather sink money into ####### like theatres with plays that nobody is ever going to pay to go to, bike paths, and they want to control everything and everyone. It's so bad there now that most of us Alaskans avoid Anchorage unless we go through it via the air port.
