Hello everyone, before I start with my questions, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ryan and I am a US citizen trying to bring my soon-to-be fiance to Texas. I will be popping the question in the next few months when I visit her! I will be starting the K1 process immediately after our engagement so I will be in here asking everyone for advice. I hope you can all give me some support and your help. I hear it's quite a stressful and nerveracking process so I am hoping the help I get from you guys will help me alleviate some of that. To keep this organized, I will post my questions in list form below.

Questions:

1. I am a US contractor working for a US company in Kuwait. I wanted to know if this will be a problem when I apply for a K1 visa for her?

2. Will I need to have a job physically in the US to be eligible to bring her there?

3. Non of my salary is taxed during the end of the year and I'm not sure how the tax returns show it but, will that be a problem for the Affidavit of Support?

4. Do I need to provide proof of income for example: pay stubs, bank statements, or W2's when I send in the Affidavit of Support?

Please, if anyone is or was a contractor and has gone through the same process, help me out and share your experience. Anyone that would know the answers to these questions please let me know. Thank you!
