Hi

Does my fiance have to provide 2 original i-134 forms or will 1 plus a photocopy be acceptable. Do they need 2 copies of the evidence to go with it or just 1?

He has his own relatively new business, hasn't made anything worth declaring yet and didn't file a tax return last time (he said he didn't make enough/anything so didn't have to file)

Anyway, we're left with just bank statements for his savings, and I plan to take a copy of my statements too (we have enough in combined savings to qualify) - will just bank statements be enough? We want to get this done with as little hassle as possible. Also, am I expected to have some written statement of how I plan to transfer my money from UK to USA should we need it, or is telling them 'I'll transfer it' if they ask at the interview enough?

Thank you

They only need one form I-134, but do make a copy for your records before giving it away at the interview. Same for financial records---make copies so you have them for AOS.

If you can show enough cash to qualify, then London will likely be okay with that. You do know it's not necessarily just the $18k that would qualify if it was a yearly income? London has been fairly flexible and there is no set figure they will accept.

Your problems will come when it's time for AOS so start making a plan. Check with income tax filing requirements for self employed and paying self employment tax. It may not be as simple as "I didn't make much." Without 3 previous tax returns filed, he will have to write spcific statements why not. And the cash amount (instead of income) will be 3 times the poverty figure.
